BABU RAO GHATTAMANENI
INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR
Babu Rao Ghattamaneni from Hyderabad, India, was elected to serve a two-year term as an
international director of Lions Clubs International at the association’s 105th International
Convention in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, July 7 through July 11, 2023.
Director Babu Rao has more than 25 years of experience as a real estate developer and is
managing partner for the Dollfine Group. He has been involved in a number of high profile
construction projects within Hyderabad and Vijayawada cities and throughout the Indian states
of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Striving to fulfill his life’s motto, “Living is Giving,” brought him to become a Lion in 1999
with the Hyderabad Serilingampally Lions Club. He has held a number of offices within the
association including multiple district council chairperson, three-time multiple district
convention chairperson and LCIF area leader. Director Babu Rao celebrates his birthday as a
Hunger Relief Day by sponsoring hunger relief activities throughout the multiple district.
In recognition of his service to the association, he has received numerous awards including
International President’s Awards. He has been honored with the Ambassador of Good Will
Award—the highest honor the association bestows upon its members. He is also a Progressive
Melvin Jones Fellow.
In addition to his Lions activities, Director Babu Rao is active in numerous charity trusts and
permanent projects. He has also served as an advisor to the National Real Estate Development
Council (NAREDCO) of West Hyderabad.
Director Babu Rao and his wife, Sandhya Rani, also a Lion and a Melvin Jones Fellow, have two
children and one grandchild.
