JEFF CHANGWEI HUANG
INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR
Jeff Changwei Huang from Guangzhou, Guangdong, China was elected to serve a two-year term
as a director of Lions Clubs International at the association’s 104th International Convention,
June 24 through June 28, 2022.
Director Huang has more than 30 years of experience in business and is chairman of this
company.
Inspired by Lions he had met and collaborated with on service projects, he became a member in
2004 with the Guangdong Lingnan Lions Club. In 2005, he became charter president for
Guangdong Ciai Lions Club, where he is still serving today. He has held a number of offices
within the association including Chairman of the Service Committee of the China Council of
Lions Clubs, Chairman of the Lions Clubs Chinese Foundation and Vice Chairman of the 57th
OSEAL Forum.
In recognition of his service to the association, he has received numerous awards and is a five
time recipient of the China Council of Lions Clubs President Medal. He is also the recipient of
multiple International President’s Awards and International President’s Leadership Awards. He
has been honored with the Ambassador of Good Will Award, the highest honor the association
bestows upon its members. He is also a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.
In addition to his Lions activities, Director Huang is active in numerous professional and
community organizations. Much of his work focuses on inspiring and motivating youth and
getting them involved in their communities. He has received a great number of civic honors and
awards including the National Outstanding Youth Committee of China award from the Chinese
government. In 2008, Director Huang ran as a torchbearer for the Beijing Olympic Games.
