SAMIR ABOU-SAMRA
INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR
Samir Abou-Samra from Adma, Lebanon was elected to serve a two-year term as a director of
Lions Clubs International at the association’s 104th International Convention, June 24 through
June 28, 2022.
Director Abou-Samra became a Lion in 1986 after joining the Beirut St. Nicolas Lions Club. He
has held a number of offices within the association including district international relations
chairperson and district LCIF chairperson. Additionally, he has served as a Leo club advisor and
a Guiding Lion for many years.
In recognition of his service to the association, he has received numerous awards including a Key
of State award and multiple extension awards. He is also the recipient of multiple International
President’s Awards and an International President’s Leadership. He has been honored with the
Ambassador of Good Will Award, the highest honor the association bestows upon its members.
He is also a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.
